Ponygirl's Interests
|
|
General
|
You know for all I've gotten into, its a little difficult to sum this up. I suppose the basic interests I have are to smile, laugh, cry and play. I know, weird I would mention crying. But not all tears are bad. Some can be of joy, of relief, of expressing a need and acknowledging. Considering that communicating sometimes our most basic neccesities... To have the ability to atleast show something had cut so deep to the core, can be empowering, no shame in that. And a hearty laugh, can be barely indistinguisable from feeling devestated. I'm proud of my tears and I'm glad for those I care about, when they can be also. Especially when they allow me to pass a kleenex to, since I'm not all that eager to pass my shirt sleeve. And yet if I think they are worth a little snot streak on my black clothes, I'm cool getting a few quarters from them to go do some extra laundry. That's how I roll and I actually can use the extra money :) |

Heroes:
|
Heroes are the outside intervention when the force of our truth, doesn't believe itself. They filled in the blanks I was born equipped with, however when I drew a blank when trying to name one of mine... I realized I had traded my heroes, for a pen. |

About me:
Almost 32. Single Mom. 1st Gen American. I speak Spanish and English. Foodie, Film Geek. Likes Vaudeville, slapstick and puns. Didn't get to go to Clown College so on a very amature level, I do balloon animals, the mime bit, though would like to learn to ride a unicycle, stilts, eat fire, swallow swords, juggle and do trapeze. Figured got looking funny down. Besides carnie, I enjoy old Wild West Victorian culture, The roaring 20's, Swingtime from the 40's, The Midcentury era and Atomic Age into Beatlemania and Acid Rock. THE PUNK YEARS, 80's New Wave into The Teddy Boy revival. Still a bit of a gothpunk but I would say more into The Pony bit I got going. I mixed Charro, Honky Tonk, with the Vampire Hunter D, Space Cowboy Ghost Rider, Saloon Girl, to get my look. Its great when Victory Rolls just aren't working for me or I want to look more like a horsey... Other than that, keep reading and join the conversation...

Who I'd like to meet:
Dinner companions to either go meet up to eat with, attend a cooking class demo, or create a cooking club somewhere mostly... Same with film either out an about or movie night at my pad or theirs/yours maybe... I'm also looking for others to go to museums with, maybe road trips in California, or the West Coast... And if I can manage it, go cross country on the back roads and see the America freeways tend to avoid. Would like to go to concerts, car shows again, but tend to burn out on those fast. Would take a picnic by a river or at the beach, or BBQ at home, over a show anytime. Kindredspirits to go hit the swapmeets, second hand antique stores, and estate sales with. Maybe other artists that enjoy to draw, paint and writters. To talk shop with. Basically kookie creepies to hang out with in to this stuff and penpals not local, in to this also.

just as described, sorry about the bad lighting. Taken with my Metro piece of shaving cream, but atleast its something so I'm not complaining... and if you notice a theme that's rather dark, it was for a reason. things are much better now though so no worries, it feels good to share and not be scared to put myself out there... |
